Universities List integrations

Connect Universities List to any other app, or use it from your AI client over MCP. Universities List is a reference dataset of higher-education institutions worldwide, published as a searchable HTTP endpoint. Callers can search universities by name, filter by country or two-letter country code, and combine both to narrow results. Each record returns the institution's official name, country, alpha_two_code, state or province where known, its web pages and the list of email domains associated with it — useful for validating that an email address belongs to a given school. No credentials required.

What your agent can do with Universities List

Triggers and actions 1 action

  • Action
    Find universities

Search the University Domains List hosted API for universities matching an optional name and/or country. Query params: name (substring match), country (exact country name, e.g. "Turkiye"). No auth required. Returns an array of {name, country, alpha_two_code, state-province, domains[], web_pages[]}. This is the only real endpoint the vendor exposes — the rest of the project is a static JSON data file, not an API.

Questions

Universities List, answered

Is there a Universities List MCP server?

APIANT's MCP server at https://mcp.apiant.ai works with Universities List. Add that address to any AI client that takes a remote MCP server, sign in once in your browser, and your client can build, test and run automations that use Universities List. Nothing to install.

What can your agent do in Universities List?

Any of Universities List's 1 action, including Find universities. Your agent maps the data both ways and tests every scenario before it ships.

Which apps can Universities List connect to?

Any app in the catalog; the list on this page pairs Universities List with each of them. If the other app is missing, point your agent at its API documentation and it builds the connector.

What happens when something fails?

Your agent works that out for you. It plans the failure paths along with the happy path, then tests every scenario before it ships.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Every plan includes the agent, including free, and building from your own AI client spends no assistant credits.
