Lanyard exposes a Discord user's live presence over HTTP and WebSocket for users who have joined its tracking server. Callers can fetch a user's current presence by Discord user id, returning online status per platform, custom status, the activities they are running including Spotify track, artist, album and timestamps, plus profile fields such as username, avatar and badges. The same service also reads and writes a user's key-value store, which is returned alongside the presence payload. No credentials required.
