Coronavirus in the UK is the UK Government's official COVID-19 statistics service, publishing case counts, testing volumes, hospital admissions, patients in hospital, deaths, and vaccination uptake. Callers can request a metric series filtered by area type — overview, nation, region, upper- or lower-tier local authority, or NHS region — and by area name or code and date, choosing exactly which metrics to return and receiving JSON, CSV, or XML. Metadata endpoints list the available metrics and the release timestamp of the latest update. No credentials required.
