Cartes.io is an open-source mapping service for creating shared maps and dropping markers on them for anything worth tracking. A caller can create a map and receive its public identifier and token, list the markers on a map, add a marker at a latitude and longitude with a description, category, and expiry, update or delete a marker, and list the marker categories in use. Responses are JSON. No credentials required.
